Instead of placing a full time guard at an entrance, it is possible to install a "Virtual Gate" Entry Control Tower that can be controlled by a remote guard who is shared by multiple functions, entrances and communities. The "Virtual Gate" Entry Control Tower looks good in any indoor or outdoor application, provides years or rust free operation, fits in tight spaces, offers excellent access to all modular components for service and is designed to be extremely user-friendly. It incorporates a thermostatically controlled heater and fan assembly to maintain acceptable conditions all year long It houses a TCP/IP based universal access control panel that can monitor all traffic and communicate over existing Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi network. Up to 4 CCTV camera (one of them built-in the "Virtual Gate" Entry Control Tower) can be connected to the NVR that will share the same network as the other devices It is also possible to design a "Virtual" Entry Control Tower such that it can be used as a manned guard station during the day and a "Virtual" station at slow times in the night. It can include Driver License Scanner or Optional Proximity Reader, CCTV Camera, Wired Intercom and Gate pass printer. No compromise in security is needed since the remote guard can see the visitor, talk to the visitor, collect driver’s license and other data from the visitor and issue the same Gate Pass to the visitor with customized directions - just like he would do if he was present at the gate itself. |
